Dear family,
We want to say thank you.
Thank you for standing with us. Thank you for being people of prayer. Thank you for being people who make sacrifices for our Savior and His vision among us. Thank you for making sacrifices for the generations to come. Thank you for thinking and living your life with all of eternity in mind now.
By doing so, by working so hard to step out by faith and give your LTW pledges, YOU are changing lives, changing futures, pleasing Jesus, and outlandishly encouraging Jan and me, through Christ IN YOU.
We love you for all of this. We lift you up in prayer for all of this. We rejoice before our Savior and our Father because of you. Our hearts are so full, so grateful. So amazingly grateful.
Together this year we achieved some things in Him:
The passing of the city council vote for our project.
The completed structural design of it.
40% completion of the detail design.
All the while being right on schedule together with fulfilling our pledges (some ahead of others, helping keep everything apace; giving time for those of us needing the extra time to see what God will do as we trust Him, and give what He put on our hearts to pledge.)
Because our pace has been so solid as a collective:
$2.45 Million of the $3.25 Million pledged is received with 7 months still to go. Praise Him.
First Southern National Bank had the confidence to provide us a 9 month Line of Credit for the remaining $800K for us to be able to fulfill our obligations in a timely manner to our architects, engineers and consultants who willingly worked ahead of schedule on this amazing project for city approval because they see it impacting this city, hundreds of families, thousand of people, and our own families or generations.
One of our major partners wrote me a few days ago to say: “I am continuously overwhelmed by this project in a very positive and spiritual way. The way in which you and your team continue to work on all aspects provides joy to me.”
May the Lord keep using YOU to bring joy to our city. Jesus is our joy.
